PHRMA

PHRMA is a non-profit association and was founded in 1947 for the purpose of furthering the professional development of its members and the HR profession as strategic business partners.

As an affiliate of SHRM, PHRMA is one of the largest chapters in the country with over 1,100 members and considered a Super-Mega chapter of SHRM. The chapter is a 100% affiliated chapter which means that all PHRMA members are also members of SHRM. The desire to be a 100% affiliated chapter started when considering the benefits SHRM offers that PHRMA is simply not large enough to offer. Being a member of both organizations provides professionals with access to resources, a network of peers and education to be confident and strategic partners within their organizations.

To make the process of being a member of both organizations easier, PHRMA helped spearhead the dual membership process with SHRM by being one of the first three chapters to rollout the process. Dual membership allows members to join and renew both memberships in one transaction!

PHRMA has partnered with Mac’s List, Oregon’s premier job board, since 2014. Members receive a $15 discount on the purchase of a single job posting with a limit of one per customer.
