I have attended two Mac's List events within the last month featuring recruiters in the fields of Healthcare and Technology. The events were very well organized, the food was great, and the mix of panelists provided broad perspectives and insight into their industries. The schedule allowed time for networking before the panelists were interviewed, and thoughtful questions were posed to the panelists to answer. I learned something new at each one and had the opportunity to meet some very interesting people. Whether you are looking for work opportunities or just want to keep current with employment trends in the northwest, these are worthwhile events to atttend! I've also very much appreciated the resources available on the Mac List site.

As a job coach and mentor, it's easy for me to recommend Mac's List. With a Website, Job Board, and Podcast all in one place, Mac's List has become one of the "go to" websites and subscriptions we recommend to our job seekers. The website offers a plethora of practical advice, but what's also great about it is you can tell they keep it current and relevant to a diverse audience. No matter who you are, or what stage of a career transition you're in, there's always something of interest. The same is true for the podcasts .... every other week a targeted piece of insight or advice from actively practicing career transition experts. Mac does a great job asking questions to solicit each expert's golden nuggets. And for those in the Pacific NW, the weekly job board is a must. Again, they make it easy to get updates and alerts, sort by function, etc. Everything you'd want in a useful tool. Check out Mac's List. You'll be glad you did.

Both resources were instrumental in helping me overcome imposter syndrome, navigate a job search later in life and really hone my new professional identity.
