Abby Engers
Abby is a writer and law graduate from the University of Oregon. After embarking on a job search for a new legal role, she realized her passion for connecting employers and employees, and helping people find meaning in their work. She currently works at Boly:Welch, a Portland-based recruiting agency, where she splits her time in Marketing, Executive Search, and Community Engagement.Abby says she’s had a pretty great day if she’s improved work, either through advising a business on an HR need, improving HR internally, or connecting companies and employees. Building relationships and making work inclusive and fulfilling for everyone drives her – enough to leave her job as an attorney to pursue a career in HR.Looking for current and practical employment advice?
